Background
Elyse spent three years as a Certified Crisis Counselor working with survivors of sexual assault — work that demands a particular kind of steadiness. You learn to hold space for people who are overwhelmed, communicate without adding to the noise, and help someone take the next step when there's no obvious path forward. That foundation, combined with her Psychology degree from ASU and a track record in administrative and coordination roles, makes her the person on the team who doesn't let things fall through the cracks — not because she's been told to, but because she understands what's at stake when they do.
Why CareWise
"I've seen how quickly families go from confused to completely overwhelmed when a placement decision can't wait. What drew me to CareWise was knowing we show up with a real answer — not a referral list — and that it doesn't cost the family anything. Working somewhere that measures success by whether we actually helped, not just how many cases we moved, makes this work matter."
Role at CareWise
Elyse runs the operational infrastructure that holds every case together — from intake through placement. She manages workflows, tracks timelines, and makes sure nothing goes quiet when it shouldn't. The advisors focus on the families. Elyse makes sure everything behind them is airtight.
